I just wanted to share a bit of a relief story with you guys because I've been bouncing around different garages for the better part of a year now with my 2019 Wrangler and it's been honestly exhausting. When I first moved to the city I just went to the nearest place to my flat whenever something came up, but I quickly realized that convenience doesn't always mean quality because I had my oil changed at one spot and they overfilled it, then another place quoted me a fortune for brake pads that I later found out were double the market price. It got to the point where I started dreading any little warning light or weird sound because I knew it meant hours of calling around and reading reviews and hoping for the best. Anyway, a couple of months ago a mate at work suggested I try somewhere he'd been taking his Renegade and honestly it's been such a game changer for me. They actually take the time to explain what's going on under the hood instead of just handing me a huge bill and telling me to pay up, and they've been super upfront about what really needs doing versus what can wait a bit. I've learned that proper Jeep maintenance in MBZ City doesn't have to be this massive headache if you find people who actually specialise in these cars and understand how they behave in our climate. The difference is night and day compared to the general workshops I tried before – they actually had the right diagnostic tools for a start, which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how many places don't. I'm not saying they're the cheapest option out there but honestly I'd rather pay a bit more and know the job's been done properly than keep rolling the dice with cheaper places that ended up costing me more in the long run anyway. Just figured I'd put this out there for anyone else who's been going through the same frustrating cycle of trial and error trying to find a reliable spot for their Jeep around here.
